Truly a complete narrative
Amazing teachings done with a gentle spirit. I loved hearing the narrative of the Bible in a way that one has a complete and encompassing picture. Thank you.
Faith & Deeds
Faith without deeds is just another story to question, as deeds can not and should not be divorced from faith. This is especially important in that deeds are the end products or fruits of faith.
Thanks to Matthew Jarlett for the brilliant presentation through the Biblical Narrative sessions of the Bible and Theology course. May God continues to bless and carry us through the entire program.
Great Teachings
Am glad for the opportunity to train with you. The teachings have been great and an eye opener to biblical narratives with great revelation of the word.

Am learning a lot and my personal life has changed and shaped
Bible analysing
In the Analyse and apply the Bible course i learned the importance of reading the book introduction in order to know and understand what am i going to find in that particular book, the book introduction will make me understand the whole book before reading it.
I learned also that I need to understand the things mentioned in the verse and what do they represent. the importance of knowing the reason the writer wrote the certain book and in what situation was he in.
some of the Epistles in the Bible were written to certain churches due to what was happening and there were messages in the letter that were written to them.
according to Philippians 4:13, it basically means to me that if God wants to send you to go somewhere and deliver His message to his people whether you have something or not he will guide you to go it , so we must not say that i don’t have what and what i cannot go there, we must let God to guide us and provide us.
i learned that when i am reading a scripture i have to analyse it in order to find the meaning to understand what it is telling me to do.
Important of things for studying and applying the bible
I learned that we have to know the relationship between the writer and the audience so that we see either it’s the same way we are to apply we should look at the the political, economical background of the book then we see how it works our time less we take it out of context

Experience of Holy Spirit at work
Learnt about practical tips on what does ministry in the Spirit looks like. There is need to watch and read about faith heroes and letting God form my unique style. Taking risk of leap of faith and wait for the Holy Spirit
An eye-opener into a subject I thought I knew all about!
A fascinating insight into the Holy Spirit. I had no idea there was so much to learn! This course has really helped me to know who the Holy Spirit is and what he has done/continues to do and how he does it.
So good to hear from many lecturers which brings different perspectives to the teaching.
The Perfect Helper
I’m thankfull that through this course “Ministry of the Spirit” was presented in a balanced way between the Fruit of the Holy Spirit and Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Over the years I’ve backed away from the Gifts and Churches that pushed it because of the excesses and the abuse and have seen people damaged by it.
But having said that there has been a growing desire to allow and wanting the the Holy Spirit to manifest the Gifts.
As I was doing this course it has increased that desrie and stiring my heart.
Thank tou.

Greater Understanding of OUR place in God's Narrative
Andrew & Jon presented so well how we as individuals & the church fit into the Kingdom here on earth & what we as a church should be doing to enhance that Kingdom.
We are to enjoy the Kingdom here on earth but we in ourselves are not the Kingdom but we can reap the benefits of God’s Kingdom here on earth by living in humility & walking as God would have us walk
Great Narrative
Another well constructed and delivered course. Highly informative and enjoyable. My only criticism would be that a couple of the quiz questions were a little ambiguous.
My head hurts
It’s been a long time since I’ve done any formal study, so this was a bit hard going at times, but it gave great perspective of the kingdom of God and my place in it.

What I've learnt in this course
The teacher and other guest had really done justice to this course in simplifying it for better grasping and understanding. The Trinity and other topics covered are better understood now. Thank you Axx. 🙏
THEOLOGY OF GOD
Wow it’s a privilege studying at Axx. Theology of God, on start up, could surely get it had understanding trinity with wording such as Christology, Pnuematology etc.
Have been blessed with scriptures that affirm my faith in the 3 persons of one being, the trinity. God is unique and His uniqueness is the cause of our hope and praise.
With all misconceptions from the world, God is immanent and transcendent at the same time, near us and far beyond us!
His love, patience, mercy and grace for mankind unconditional. When you look at the finished work of Christ , from incarnation to Ascension, glorious! The work of Holy spirit that still does, all make me glorify God. Am blessed with this insight am blessed to know more of my God.
Thank you Jeremy. Bountiful blessings to Axx team.

We are a fallen and broken people
Seeing humanity’s continued attempts to respond to sin, even today, serves as a reminder of how far we have fallen. But thank God for his only begotten son Jesus and the opportunity that is before us, we get to be part of the re-connection process, to go and make disciples of all nations, which is all humanity.
Sales Reps for God!
We humans were created to bear His image & be in relationship with Him & others & the world, to show what it looks like to live well, bring reconciliation & peace, plus freedom in Christ… I have appreciated gaining a better understanding of humanity from a biblical perspective & learning more about applying the foundational concepts of theology both within & beyond the church 🙂
Enlightening
This has been the most thought provoking section so far. It tied up many loose ends in my thinking, plugged many gaps in my knowledge and even answered questions that I’d never actually thought needed asking!! All of that enables me to start grasping the much bigger picture. Many thanks indeed.
