Church history part 2
It was so empowering just to know power accumulation in those days led to major corruption. The things people were doing in private were now done publicly eg murder, sex and people became greedy. People rejected the way of Christ. Forgiveness was based on contributions people made in church. Salvation is by faith in Christ alone. What a great awakening in the 1730 when the God’s spirit began. Wesley saw the need for methodical process for people to grow in faith. Massive expansion of missinary activities realised in the 19th century.

Nuggets Galore
Great takeaway nuggets throughout the course. I gave my heart to the Lord when I stumbled across Christian radio one evening in NZ at 27yrs old and was blessed to be lead by Holy Spirit to an AOG church with a Senior Pastor who was an amazing teacher – so very much of what I heard was throughout the course was a refresher of what I been taught all those years ago.
Well structured and to the point.

The presenters were brilliant, their presentation style was very engaging and facilitates what the course sets out to do, encourages you to go deeper and refreshing your desire to expand your study of the Word. Eye opening
I’ve been a Christian for decades and have been reading the Bible somewhat blindly. After completing this course it has given me some good foundations for really analysing and understanding the scriptures, in light of their historical context and literary genre.
