Course Reviews
Review for "God's call your response"
It is a pleasure to write a review about the lessons that I have learned through precious men of God. In this module “God’s call your response” I have got a lot more clarity about God’s call, and how people respond to the call. In particular, I learned that WE HAVE BEEN CALLED IN VARIOUS WAYS IN VARIOUS TIMES. AND WE WERE RESPONDED BOTH IN ACTION AND IN CONVICTION. While Dr. Brendan Roach teaches about the ministry zone, he extracts the principle from the parable, making it so simple and practical that it gives us a new understanding. though I know a few things about hearing the voice of God, Kay Dohle explains it in an exceptional way and made me listen to lessons interestingly. Overall I enjoyed every lesson, and I am very much blessed. Thank you so much.

blessed
i am blessed with more biblical insights
Burnout
Ministers of the gospel experience burnout or stress 😩 because we fail to manage our time and spiritual health.
This lecture really helped me to organise my day, priorities and time.
I liked the 4 quadrants coz they are very useful in planning ahead.
Also the 3 tanks were the highlight of the lecture as we all need to check them and know how to refill them 😀

It was an eye opener
The entire course was informing and very educative. It revealed so many insights in the bible.
Facts about Jesus
The lesson has tremendously open my eyes to facts and error of people about Jesus
Personal review/testimonial
Introduction to The Biblical Narrative has been a great eye opener to me. In the study I discovered when and where the prophets opareted from eg before or during the exile. I also discovered the political reason for the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and the people’s expectations. I equally had an eye opener on the fact that everything happening in Christianity is a fufilment of prophecy and Paul going to the gentiles was to fulfill prophecy. For these and so much more I therefore request that all ignorant pastors like me do take the rare opportunity offered by Axx to enrich the stuff they do dish to their flock. Thanks.

incredible journey
This has been a brilliant set of lessons. I am certainly more informed to do a better job when preaching.
Beynd expectaion
This unit was a real blessing, I have learnt so much that it is difficuilt to explain. One thing I know, applying this knowledge, will make me a better preacher.
Sermon Design and Delivery
The unit has taught me that designing and delivering a sermon properly are essential for successful preaching. In designing, we need to consider the exegesis (understanding the text) and hermeneutics (understanding the world). Exegesis helps with avoiding selecting one verse and preaching it of context as it understands the meaning, form, culture and why the author referred to some examples as fitting the Biblical meta-narrative story. Preparation of a sermon is so important since it leads to better content and eliminating anxiety when presenting it. It is also important to handle difficult topics through humor and giving positive examples among others. In preaching it is important to do evaluation by allowing specific people to critique and also listening to self through watching your personal sermon. We should avoid post-delivery syndrome that tends to make us be negative like we did not deliver the message well. Instead we should understand that God has the responsibility of changing people and transforming them.
