Planting & developing churches

God has called us to plant churches through use of the unique ways he’s given to us. We can never experience the power of how God can do through us until we step out trusting him. “We should not pray for the Job and fail to do application “.

I learn in church planting you have to trust and rely to God 100%

In all suffering you need to focus just like David and that is a principle a calling is essential this is what suppose to fill my head

I learn that I should know my limits

And I should never be ashamed to start all over again

The most important thing is to have relationship with God

And remember always about short and long terms because in the race there’s always one person who wins the prize not everyone

Always seeking wisdom is the beginning of wisdom

Honesty, humility and seeking help

Conjetivity

Be accountable and authenticity

Living the true version of yourself

Understanding the goals

You must put God first

Being able to have self evaluation

My Testimony

12/01/2025

One of the things I really valued about

AXX Bible College was the flexibility. I am working as Bus Driver in Sydney. And doing split hours work which I can open my ttablet and study.

It was great for me because it allowed for me to fit my study around my ministry commitments, and allowed me to put my learning into immediate application.”

“I live in Sydney suburb Lakemba, people’s from many background world view is very different, and AXX Bible College Study Material Engaging the Scriptures prepared me really well for that.

I study the lectures from Matt who deliver the study of Bible very well : word study, up to application, prepared me well to be doing church Ministry to become Youth Pastor right here in Lakemba Baptist Church, Sydney, and helped me in my study just like a missionary training as i apply in my ministry together with my wife and my children. Home – Church – Work (school for my children)

God grace and blessing abundantly provide us with His Wisdom and Knowledge.

Thank you AXX Bible College.

CONTEXT IS IS BETTER THAN JUST TEXT

06/23/2025

I personally think that the consistent emphasis on embracing the broader context of Biblical passages is particularly helpful in this unit. This is very helpful especially in Africa where most of the time, text overwrites context in sermons and even bible studies. Great unit for a good solid foundation in Scriptural studies and interpretation approaches.

Jesus Christ is fully divine and fully human, the Son of God and the Son of Man. He lived a sinless and perfect life demonstrating His divine nature, and providing a perfect sacrifice for humanity’s sins. Jesus showed remarkable love, compassion, and empathy towards others, especially the marginalized and oppressed. Through His death on the cross, Jesus provided redemption and salvation for humanity, reconciling us to God and forgiving our sins. His sacrifice was was a substitutionary atonement for our sins, satisfying God’s justice and demonstrating His love. Jesus resurrection from the dead demonstrated His power over sin and death, providing Victory for believers and assurance of eternal life. My testimony in this lesson is that , Through faith in Christ, I have a personal relationship with God, experiencing His love, guidance, and comfort. I have received forgiveness for my sins and freedom from the power of sins, living a life transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Person & Work of Christ - Part 2

06/11/2025

As in Part 1, I don’t agree with everything said, although Part 2 made a lot more sense to me.

Theology is not easy to understand and it is important to see it from the viewpoint of the believer in front of you. Although Jesus can’t be more than one, He is Jesus, Son of the living God, it is the interpretation.

I am of strong opinion that there is only one God, one Son, and one Holy Spirit, the Trinity. there is no other god. That is why I don’t agree with every thing said, more especially the way it is brought forward. To someone who have little to no background of theology, they might get the idee that they may create their own image of Jesus and that it is acceptable, Where in fact according to scripture, it is not.

Thank you for a very interesting lecture. I appreciate it.

Jesus. Kingdom. Gospel: Part 1

06/22/2025

Jesus’ Kingdom” refers to the reign or rule of God, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus. It’s a central theme in the Gospels, often described as a present reality and a future hope, characterized by righteousness, peace, and joy. Jesus’ teachings about the kingdom emphasize its transformative power, both individually and collectively, and its implications for how believers live in the world.

God’s Reign:

The kingdom of God is fundamentally about God’s sovereign rule and authority. It’s not a physical territory, but a spiritual reality where God’s will is done.

Present and Future:

Jesus proclaimed that the kingdom of God had already come in his ministry, yet it also has a future consummation. His parables often illustrate this dual aspect.

Transformation:

Entering the kingdom of God requires a radical change of heart and life, turning away from sin and embracing God’s values. This transformation is both an individual experience and a societal impact.

Emphasis on Love and Justice:

The kingdom of God is characterized by love, compassion, and justice, challenging believers to live out these values in their relationships and actions.

Community:

The kingdom is not just an individual experience but also a community of believers who support and encourage one another in their faith.

Contrasting with Earthly Kingdoms:

Jesus’ kingdom contrasts with earthly kingdoms built on power, domination, and self-interest, highlighting the values of humility, service, and self-sacrifice.

In essence, the kingdom of God, as taught by Jesus, is a call to align one’s life with God’s will, experiencing transformation in the present and anticipating its full manifestation in the future, marked by love, justice, and peace.

Tex (Gary) became a successful pub musician in 1980’s, from there began working with large church & community organisations in media and music production. He has travelled to many places in the world, usually with a video camera and tripod, either doing documentaries on Australians working in other lands, or filming his own works on Anzac history in the First World War. In addition to being an avid steam engine enthusiast with YouTube channel ‘symphony of steam’, Tex is an authority on Christian worship.

Thank you Holy Spirit

11/13/2025

I am glad that I have completed the course “Ministry In the Spirit”. I love this course very much “cos work of the Holy Spirit is more than what you think of; it’s only with the practical knowledge and experience that we understand how the Holy spirit works in us and through us with His presence in our daily walk with God. Intellectual knowledge is insufficient to understand the depth & breadth of God’s Kingdom and it’s purpose. We need to apply biblical principles with the help & guidance of the Holy Spirit inviting Him to live in us throughout our lives and praying for His guidance in our daily walk with God. We will not be able to win souls to the kingdom unless we do everything in the spirit. When you really know the effective way of winning souls to God’s kingdom with all the challenges we face in this world you will experience the sense of joy in your spirit.

Value of evangelism and discipleship

11/09/2025

Well presented course with different speakers which represents each one’s way of understanding the gospel

What impressed me the most was Tina Waldrom quote

“we must share the gospel with one ear to the receiver and one ear to heaven” this sums up how effective evangelism should be done

Today this thought keeps me focused on how I should reach others

BREAKING TRIBAL AND CULTURAL BARRIERS TO REACH ALL PEOPLE WITH THE GOSPEL

05/09/2025

I have learnt of partnership to build synergy, how to be concerned about community and its transformation, interpreting realities by having Jesus’ worldview in order to interact with reality of people lives to interpret the same in order to reach them effectively. I’ve helped to how to reach cities and building short term mission teams and how to reach the western world.

The importance of spiritual warfare especially to tackle secularism and religious pluralism.

Also i have been inspired by the lives of missionaries to the unreached who are notably world changers and change agents. I should also have Jesus’ attitude to the lost and the high value He places on souls of men , interpreting it as His food.
