Week by week revealing of the Holy Spirit

11/28/2024

All through this course my knowledge of the Person of the Holy Spirit has grown exponentially. Having initially joined the (Evangelical) Anglican Church in Sydney I now understand how little time and consideration of the work of the Holy Spirit we were taught. Everything was Jesus, and whilst I know that is correct, I now have a better understanding of the role and work of the Holy Spirit is his relationship within the Trinity.

Intercultural ministry

10/06/2024

Understanding of cultural diversity and dynamics will lead to fruitful missions and fulfilled ministry. This course has impacted me to do ministry outside with love and compassion without demonizing cultural diversity as it’s in itself the unique identity God has given to people.

Community transformation

05/13/2024

I think this session teaches me much about love and care which our Lord Jesus Christ practiced when He was on earth. He fed 5 thousand and He healed the sick, that was humanitarian and caring. We are also encouraged to do have mission of humanitarian and transform the communities to potray the love of Christ such as advocating for social Justice and helping the poor. Early christians are a good example to us , Acts 2:42-46.

Called for a Mission Experience

11/01/2024

Early this year l was elected as Deaconate Chairman of our church and consequently became Church Administrator.

And two months later the Pastor left the church in order to pursue other works.

This left me with a responsibility to shepherd the church. This was to be done with my very basic training/knowledge on Biblical Interpretations, church governance and church growth and development.

Now with the way God does things, he introduced me to this training by AXX and particularly the unit on CROSSING CULTURES which has helped me redefine God’s Call upon my life.

This unit has also served as an utmost reminder that God wants to use me to be among the people that are going to reach out to the unreached people groups.

This will now be easy because God has taught me through this unit on how to go about and relate with people from different cultures.

So help me God.
