Personal view
This has been a very interesting journey for me, I feel being challenged to go for mission and I’m really humbled to be given this opportunity to aquire this kind of knowledge. I’m really thankful.
Thanks
I have learned a lot of things about mission
PEOPLE THAT ARE LOOKING, SERCHING FOR GOD - RECEIVED GOD.
It takes a heart that is looking for God to receive the dealings of God towards missions.
This course helps me to see myself round the world with the desire to do missions within cultures if impowered by God.
Studying intercultural mission has given me another level of understanding of Gods ministry. It has given me a world and a global view of humanity. Professor Ian L Grant {fast in lecturing} in his lecture said intercultural ministry allows one to get a world and a global vision. And it also allows you to get a global purpose. He said mission is the heart of God. That one that will search for the God of mission will received Him.
Exploring from Acts 1-2, 10-11, 17:24-34 Ian explained that all people of the world are God’s people.
On whom a world Christian is he said a believer should be able to wholeheartedly embrace every person and people as God’s human family. such a Christian can look at a Muslim Hindu Buddhist etc. and say God created this person, God love this person as he loves me, Jesus came and died for this person. He knowledge Christ coming as the redemptive measure for all people without discrimination or favor.
One interesting statement I learned is that UNLESS AND UNTILL THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD BECOMES MORE AND IMPORTANT THAT THE FUTRE OF THE CHURCH THE CHUCH HAS NO FUTURE.
Some topics Professor Ian L. Grant Lectured are: The call of God. What and why of mission. Mission and God’s role.
lecturing on History of missions stirred up my passion on missions by hearing of pioneers on missions. eg. Zinzendorf, Carrey etc. These have such a passion and love for God. He pointed out that Stephen in the bible addressed the Sanhedrins putting Jesus in the center. That the purpose of God church history is reintegration of distorted cosmos through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and with this the reconciliation of things to Himself.
Thanks to axx for such a great opportunity to learn.

My testimony
I would like to thank for every step I move forward on this course it brings me much understanding and clear picture on what I should do and what I shouldn’t do in my service. As I’m given missions to do I’m very sure that everything is going to be alright in Jesus name.
Grateful
I’m learning a lot. Thank you Axx
THE CALL!
I came on a Missions Call with my husband, who is a Pastor. My thought and intent was to support him 100% in church planting as he labored in God’s vineyard. A year after arriving my husband became ill and was unable to continue. Naturally, I stepped in to fill the gap until he became well again. I did not know God had a different plan. My husband had been in ministry over 40 years, and was approaching the time of retirement. God had another plan for my life than the one I thought. As of today, I am running the Ministry and the Lord has us focused on exactly this–Training Leaders for Missions work within the various, unreached areas of their country. GLORY BE TO GOD for this on time lesson. This module has helped me to attain a clearer picture of cross cultural missions work and on training other to do same.
