Brenton Killeen
For almost two decades Brenton has invested in youth and young adults ministry through various local, state, and national leadership roles. This positive history and broad experience has shaped a communication style that is flexible and effective for any setting and any age range. He communicates with deep insight into issues related to life, faith, and culture encouraging people to discover God in the midst of their circumstances. Brenton is currently the CEO-International at Jerry’s House, previously Director of Mustard Leadership Australia (a secondary schools student ministry), and Director of the Australian National Youth Ministry Convention.

I learned that it is very important to identify the different stages of youth, and how to reach them efficiently. This is another challenging course that helps to disciple thé youth.
Mentoring and coaching the youth
The youth of this generation are in need of people who will mentor and coach them. We need to create relation, listen well, build trust, identify their needs.
This is a very pertinent course in this programme. I am eager to practice what I learned in my our church.

Discipleship and leadership
I learned that young people should be envolved in ministry, by training them as disciples and leaders. They should feel that they are useful in advancing the Kingdom.
This course is designed to give students a broad overview of effective leadership of youth ministry, in a local church context. Students will learn a framework for evangelism and how to develop themselves as a leader and develop the leadership skills of those around them in youth ministry.
