visual experience!
I loved how these videos where filmed, adding the visual picture of what we where learning about really helped me!
Fantastic!!
I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Ancient Israel Explored!’ It was so interesting and I didn’t want it to end! The visual of all the different locations really made the information presented come alive. I had many ‘ah ha’ moments. Hezekiah’s tunnel was exceptional! I found all the little details of the course so interesting that I couldn’t stop talking about it to my husband…I hope he didn’t get sick of me! 🙂
Just the little tidbits of information, such as the stone jars that were used when Jesus turned the water into wine. It was fascinating to learn that if they were pottery, made by man’s hands, they would be unclean…but being stone jars, thus made by God, they were pure. This course has really enlightened me and gave me such a thirst and hunger to learn more! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about the ancient times and culture!

Food for thought
At times I found it hard to process the information as I am not in a leadership role in church currently so I wasn’t sure what to apply it to. But I learned a lot from the principles taught and can see how they would have been useful in previous situations and will be in the future too. The content was very good, I especially liked Andrew’s passion for the topic.
Leadership
It touched my heart to realize that am called to serve through the gifts and talents that I have
Authentic leadership
This topic was very important to me as I had been uplifted to lead two ministries. As a leader I now know that I should walk with the character of Jesus because a lot of people are learning from me. My character is very important because if people don’t trust me they will not trust my message. In the leadership I know I should love and take care of the church. Some people come to church hurting and so they should find love in the church. I learned how to make relationships, how to solve conflicts. How to work with people of different characters. I also learned how to teach, and correct others. How to maintain a healthy heart in order to be strong to lead. I know how to form groups and deligate work to them. Thanks to Axx.

Course Reviews
Managing conflict God's way.
Conflict is inevitable. Innerconflict a necessity. I have learned in this module that doesn’t always call for warfar and fighting, but one mustn’t turn a blind eye to disagreements. Pastors are obligated to confront the person who brings the obstacles and abstain from rubbing serious and not so serious matters under the mat. Conflict can perform the function of sandpaper…it can smooth surfaces. Some battlefields are better left alone and ignored, because as pastors we need to be equip in managing all sorts of Conflict. We are oblidged to resolve or leave issues, not play devil’s advocate over every nitty gritty issue that pops up.
Conflict is only healthy when it bring coertivity to the team. If not conflict destroys relationships. Dealing with conflict in a positive manner brings growth to any organisation.
When two different objects collide…what happens? Collisions! Clashes! When we resist change conflict is bound to pop up.
Leaders can also be the initiator of conflict if he is not skilled enough to recognise and manage difficult situation. The lecturer said, ” Sometimes conflict takes out the roughness in us and makes us more creative.”
Teammates have a common goal and it is imperative that they harmonise and synchronise to bring about change and accept the thing they cannot change. Don’t ever ignore those who causes conflict or seek for attention. Never attack people who are confrontational, but have a private chat around the matter of interest. Ask more and say less. Let them do the talking and you respond and abstain from reacting.
It often happens in my line of work, because teacher’s sometimes over react. I am also guilty of such behaviour, but i am skilled enough now to behave better. Conflict is situational that why your approach as the leader cannot be casf jn stone. I have learned to view and observe before you try to resolve matters. Get enough content to work with.
Some sins must be dealt with on the spur of the moment, while other minor problems can be resolved in stages.
One must take your failures and use them as a stepping stone to success. There will always be mistakes, because we are human. We can use being human as an excuse to sin deliberately time and time again. Admit mistakes and by all means try to avoid them.
Be clear about everything you say or do as a leader. Clarify the objectives so that no doubt arises.
Not knowing what to decide brings us into a place of loneliness. Leaders can and must take risks, but they must learn to make decisions at crucial times for the good of the members. I understand that no ministry can exist without members. Sometimes leaders have to walk accross boundaries of teams to achieve the common goals of the fraternity.
” I need to tap into the knowledge and demands of others to make it work for the crew, because I dont know everything. I am interdependent and cannot operate in isolation.
Learning to work with your superiors and other stakeholders, colleagues, teammates , clients and the community will bring peace and minimise inner- conflict.
I like how the lectures explained the benefits of vulnerability for leadership. Vulnerability is not a weakness. It shows authenticity and honesty with regards to human nature.. it shows courage to say I am not skilled enough and I as your leader needs you support to make us as a team successfful. If I lack the expertise nothing stops me from asking for assistance from those who knows more than me.
Wow! Be collaborative, because you need help. Be vulnerable , because you want to be real and authentic in all you do and say.
Account for all you activities and accept responsibility for the choices that you make and the things that you say and do. Can I be trusted with my own and other peoples wealth and secrets in counseling?
Leaders must be teachers, trainers, coaches and mentors and desciplers. Know your role in each of those levels.
Don’t expect others to change if you are reluctant to change. ” For things to change I need to change.”
If you choose the best options you will get the best returns. Change is all about changing people than changing things. We can change structures and systems, but if we dont change people we will never get a positive outcome.”
Leader’s accept change first. Pastors accept the things you cannot change and allow God to change hearts.
Amen
Thank you Dr. Haddad for the informative session. I can make a change in my work environment, at church and in the broader community and globally is I become an agent of change myself. Thank you Havest Bible College for investing in me.
Highly appreciated. Wow!

I'm now a qualified disciple of Jesus Christ
Glory to God 🙏🙏, I really thank God for his mercy and grace through you really, now I can read the Bible with confidence and started preaching it with boldness knowing how to handle it in right way, my understanding is open and if people start to preach and I come across that they preach what they don’t understand then I just feel like to jump up and said this is the way to go. How good will it be if all woman and man of God are taken through this knowledge. And that is my prayer for them to be equipped with the Word of God.

Understanding the word 'Theology'
Some point in time I have different answers in my mind when I faced some questions concerning God Himself, the Creation of the world, the Human etc but now I have good solid answers on these questions.
Organizing my thoughts and ideas
Although I have learned much from the lessons, these added information and the ideas already existing in my mind that were studied here would be a mess have the presentation have not been made. The presentation gave structures to the things learned and the existing known ideas that have things organized in my mind.
My personal life experiences
I really appreciate axx Bible college, because I have learned alot about God in this college, my life have been changed the very day I started this study
