how can I forget my take away lesson of Acts “God is personally involve in the building of the church and in the salvation of mankind”.
Coupled with all the historical studies, themes, authorship, literary issues, the lessons and much more, what I learned from Acts which is amazing is to rely on the Holy Spirit who is personally involve in building the Church.

Never too old to learn more!
I’ve been a Christian for many years, and made a point of reading the Bible, probably in a haphazard way. Reading the Bible to understand the context and the cultural differences is paramount to fully understand what God is saying to me today. There is such a wealth of knowledge and background information that is necessary to glean what it means today.
I am loving this unit. The lectures are brilliant, very clear instructions and the presenter Andrew is amazing.
'I walk by faith'. Works without action is dead. (James 2:26 NIV).
Putting into practice is an essential element and act of obedience in our walking out what God has commanded us to do by going out into the world and making disciples/ being disciples of Christ Jesus. (Mark 16:15 NIV). This is something I have actively been trying to walk out this year. This topic is helping me actively and engage Godly Principals into my world locally.
It was amazing
Shows me how to go deeper in the word of God not just look at it at the surface level

Outstanding Teaching and Training!

They have covered a myriad of important components and included identifying and showing awareness of some tough characteristics around Biblical Authentic Leadership. This study sequence in particular and overall stream, is perfect for anybody who aspires or is inspired to lead well. I have grasped the complete concept of Biblical authentic leadership, and I have become aware of my own shortcomings; through the reflective tools you have provided. I now have a clear path for continued learning and growth in this area. I have stepped up in my ministry with committed responsibility being aware of the importance of choices, because of what this sequence has shown me. Called for a Mission Experience
Early this year l was elected as Deaconate Chairman of our church and consequently became Church Administrator.
And two months later the Pastor left the church in order to pursue other works.
This left me with a responsibility to shepherd the church. This was to be done with my very basic training/knowledge on Biblical Interpretations, church governance and church growth and development.
Now with the way God does things, he introduced me to this training by AXX and particularly the unit on CROSSING CULTURES which has helped me redefine God’s Call upon my life.
This unit has also served as an utmost reminder that God wants to use me to be among the people that are going to reach out to the unreached people groups.
This will now be easy because God has taught me through this unit on how to go about and relate with people from different cultures.
So help me God.
Short term mission trips
I have learnt a lot at axx college and in this topic called crossing cultures . I learnt about
(1)How to go as a servant
(2)How to act as a team
(3)How to go as a learner
(4)How to arrange things as a traveller
It has really blessed me and changed something in my life. Thank you so much to all the leaders and the owner of axx college

Phenomenal teaching! Thank you!
Phenomenal teaching. Loved this sequence. I feel much stronger and equipped to lead. Thank you.
Leadership is about influencing people to change and making Disciples!
I found this course very informative, objective and concise. I liked that it goes beyond our understanding of the need to self-manage first and foremost, but that it shared important and specific information, so we, as leaders and emerging leaders can, demonstrate and use skills in, teaching, training, coaching and mentoring our team. I loved learning about leadership being all about influencing people to change, enlisting them to purpose and helping to establish a structure so that people can move forward towards their Jesus call in life, their goal of mission and strengthening their spiritual values. I loved to hear that biblical and authentic leadership is about the growth of others and leading them towards discipleship and spiritual change. Most importantly leadership is about responsibility. It stops with you. As Colossians 3:12 reads, ” 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Continue to lead well. Thank you.
Seemed More "In Depth" Than Foundational, Which Was Good
I appreciated the focus on three specific roles in this class: First as Mentors, then as Coaches and then on Disciplers. It caused me to think about the kind of Mentor/Coach/Discipler Jesus was. His example is ALWAYS the best to pattern ourselves after, and this course kept bringing things back to Bible basics (2nd Timothy 2:2 as an example). I was glad that it felt like it went deeper than just an introductory or foundational level.

Spiritual Disciplines
I have found that our studies have made me question my understanding of “Christian Maturity”. I thought that I was one after 37 years but I now realise that I became mature by ‘doing’ not ‘listening’. This I believe is why I do not feel as close to God as I would like, that I do not hear His voice through the Spirit. In my retirement is is time to learn to be still and hear Him.
Eat Pray Love Evaluate and Repeat
Unit 1 is a very practical way at looking at setting yourself up for success in the study of church ministry. Looking at goals, values and how to address your personal feelings and gauging your need for rest etc. It’s very gentle and offers practical lessons and advice that can be used in everyday life.
I am God's Masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10) I am poetry to God (ref Amelia Pickering)
Working through this course is like peeling the layers off an onion. With each layer I am discovering more about myself that I really didn’t give much weight to. I’ve never thought about personal core values, and I found this quite challenging yet humbling. I’ve come to understand more fully and realise that my life is important to God and that I am his masterpiece, and he wants me to go deeper in Him. I am enough for Him; I am His child. Learning about the Spiritual Disciplines is like a breath of fresh air – so complete and purposeful and I’m wondering why I didn’t know about these before now. I’m still trying to make them a daily priority. I understand that my life has purpose, and God is the mastermind behind what I do with my life. He is my personal tour guide, showing me where to go and how to get where He wants me. God draws up the plans then in His own time he shares them with me. What do I want to do with my life? I want to serve the Lord, and I want to help others deepen their faith. At the time of writing this review I am co-leading our church, and I feel that God has me here for a reason. I am truly blessed to be in this position. This course is helping me stay grounded and giving me strategies and tips to lead our church forward.

It is a very exiting unit as both lecturers operate harmoniously and demystify the book of Revelation that many ministers of the Gospel and Christians avoid to interact with.
The Book of Revelation is regarded by many believers as a tough/hard book to read, understand and interpret.

Brief and comprehensive study
I studied at 4 theological institutes around the world. What distinguishes studying at the institute of AXX is that it was clear and concise in a way that makes the student not get bored of it, unlike other institutes where I got bored of the many lectures that extended to more than an hour.
Favourite
I really enjoyed this course. It is definitely my favourite so far. It covered so much material and Jeremy has a very easy to listen to delivery.
Fantastic
Although the title is not something that would generally interest most people, this course was jam packed with theological goodness that was easy to understand thanks to the teachers.

INCREDIBLE
This definitely changed my perspective of worship (even as a pastor!) – the approach Tex brings is both challenging and empowering!
theology of worship
This lecture was honestly an eye opener to me on how we should worship God, the way we worship God back then its no more like temple worship we worship him anywhere any place. The way we give to people and sever them should be away of how we will serve and give to God. Our presence and value is meant to uplift others. Mr. Tex Houston also mentioned about the way we should worship when we in church and the difference between a church service and a church gathering witch really did make a lot of sense cause when we come together to worship God its should be done in unity.
worship
this to confirm that i have learn and understand how i am to worship and praise the king of kings JESUS and also how to serve fellow humanity outside the church and in the church.
