A Revelation and Challenge

2023-03-31

This course has helped me understand many of the events in my life which have formed and affected my outlook on life and my approach to my faith. In some cases it was quite surprising, in others it brought clarity and understanding. In a number of cases it was uncomfortably challenging, but ultimately very useful.

Refocussing and looking to God.

2023-03-30

There is definitely a lot to this course so far and it is, among other things, helping me put in perspective a lot of my past in accordance with how God sees it and how He sees me. It can be very easy to lose sight of what really matters in life and allow pressures to take your eyes off Jesus and doing this course so far has helped me refocus and keep Him first.

Good leader

2023-03-25

The course covers all aspects of leadership authenticity which is a must for every church leader. Because, if you are a leader in the church you are in trusted in shepherding the people of God. Therefore authentic leadership is a must for us to have training and wisdom in this regard to be able to direct the people in the right direction, which is salvation. What i liked about the course is that, it has practical examples of the problems that we face but also has alternative solutions in line with the word of God which is a source of knowledge.

RELYING ON THE HOLY SPIRIT

2022-11-19

On TALKING TO NON-CHRISTIANS Tina Waldron session made me to refocus myself more on depending on the Holy Spirit. 2 Cor. 5:17-19. This Holy Spirit will flow through the believer’s life to the non-believers. The holy spirit puts the believer living a life of evangelism an not a life of evangelistic events. As Steve Jarlette also pointed out in this session, I want to have more love for the lord and His work. The god will give me more open doors as I break off my fears and difficulties to share God’s love more and more.

Renewal of God-given purpose

2023-03-02

Time and time again God called me to follow Him, yet each time there’s one excuse after another. I have bits and pieces of pastoral and trainings through various Christian organizations, but I would slowly drift away when I had to choose between ministry and money. Finally this time God mercifully took money away and I can finally choose to follow Him completely and willfully. May Our Heavenly Father be glorified. Amen.

Following the design of the first church

2023-02-01

My reasoning for attending this course was to obtain an incite on the process of support for those in the church in need. I have always been the go to guy for support outside the church family. So to understand the suggested process and shared responsibility required. I found the course extremely enlightening and understand the reason in Acts 6 for the delegation of other believers to share the work load so those with the gifts needed for other process can be freed to do their allotted tasks.
