Amazing one
Our calling, knowledge and ministry can’t be any better than who will really are.
Better understand of self for ministry
I believe going on the course has brought me to a deeper knowledge and understanding of myself as I embark on my journey into the ministry.
Challenged me to think about how I live
It made me think a lot more deeply about myself and how I want to live. I know I want to live more intentionally, living out of a sense of purpose and not just drifting through life.

I had a very insightful lessons from this course, I am now able to reflect deeply on my call to Ministry through prayer, meditation and fasting over my life.
I wish to rekindle the work of God in my life as I take my journey with God in his church.

This classes have also reemphasose on how to allign my calling to fit into the overall plan and working of God which a calledthe kingdom of God. And many more. It’s been an eye opener to my fulfilment as a child of God.

Food for thought
At times I found it hard to process the information as I am not in a leadership role in church currently so I wasn’t sure what to apply it to. But I learned a lot from the principles taught and can see how they would have been useful in previous situations and will be in the future too. The content was very good, I especially liked Andrew’s passion for the topic.

It touched my heart to realize that am called to serve through the gifts and talents that I have

Ministry in Holy Spirit
I have learnt that all that I do the heavens must direct. This means I should always listen to the Holy Spirit even as I listen to my audience. I need to take time to allow God do his work through me. I have learnt in the process that character development through through the Holy Spirit is key and should preceed the gifts if I am to minister effectively

Understanding God
This topic taught me what theology is. It is simply seeking to understand God. I learned that God is in trinity. That is God the father, God the son, and God the Holy spirit, three equal person and they are equal in status. We also discussed unity in trinity and trinity in unity. And this unity should as well be demonstrated in the church of God, the church should learn unity and be able to work together in harmony. Trinity is said to be a loving peaceful and expensive fellowship, and it is out of the overflow of these relationship that creation and humans came together. We also learned about the attributes of God: God is eternity he lives for ever, self-sufficient, impassibility not affected by anything external to himself. He is omnipotent everywhere, he is omnipotent all powerful, he is omniscience all knowing and omnibenevolence God is God. God is responsible for creation, Christ for salvation and the holy spirit redemption. Holy spirit leades reveals and empowers us . I very much appreciate this course because even though I knew about trinity I had some misconceptions. I looked at God the father as a superior one which was wrong thanks to this course which cleared the misunderstanding.

Pastoral Care
Probably one of the best lessons I have ever had in this training. This because I learnt so much social skills that can make a pastor’s operation largely successful. For example Conflict Management, Crises Management , Communication Skills, Relationship Health, Self Management, Spiritual Gifts, Strength Finder, Practical Pastoral Care Meetings etc. I have learnt so much and I pray that i put into practice and teach other pastors the same.
Overview of the whole unit
The unit was a great learning experience in that it gave practical, commonsense steps to caring for and maintaining a helping relationship in a pastoral care setting. This is an excellent framework and foundation for beginning and developing a ministry which is entered on the care for God’s people.
Highly recommended for all leaders in the church, the body of Christ.

Introduction to Theology part 1 review
We’re all theologians. Whenever we teach, read the Bible, preach, think about God, think about ourselves, think of Church, think of sin, think of salvation and even the future, all are concepts that theology looks up to explore. So that we understand them better and then we can both live towards God as we’re meant to. Also when we’re confronting a world that doesn’t know God.
An amazing part of theology is grounded way back then, theology has the task and mandate of bringing the truth of the word alive in us today.
Theology is a translator. Because the Bible was in Hebrew & Aramaic and then Greek, it progressed as culture changed so that the word of God could be expressly understood and the knowledge of God could be given in the light of the culture of the day.
Introduction to Theology has changed my life. The way I look at life, the way I look at God, the way I look at the scripture has changed massively.
God bless you.
