ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY
The five styles in this model can be summarized as follows: Avoiding: Unassertive and uncooperative. You neither pursue your own concerns nor those of the other party, leaving the conflict unresolved. Accommodating: Unassertive and cooperative. This style is the opposite of competing; you neglect your own concerns in favor of the other party’s. Competing: Assertive and uncooperative. You pursue your goals at the expense of the other party’s interests. Collaborating: Assertive and cooperative. An effort is made to find a solution that satisfies both parties’ goals. Compromising: Intermediate in both assertiveness and cooperation. No optimal solution is reached, but both parties make sacrifices to some extent.
Building and organizing teams
Tho I have been leading others without formal training, this will lead/ help me do even better. Thank you Axx
