Seek first to Understand and then be Understood
This was a nice overall view of pastoral care and I understand that by nature of the certificate, it was quite general. I do feel that there were times when Rory waffled on a little but overall it was a good general introduction to Pastoral Care. I did love the quote, ‘first seek to understand and then be understood’ and Rory had some great quotes. I would suggest changing the background of the slides as I could not see the writing when I printed them. Also note that there is an error in the quiz for Spiritual Gifts: Acts 1:8 says that ‘you will be my witenesses.’
A Journey Through Biblical and Historical Perspectives on Worship
The Theology of Worship course offers an insightful and detailed exploration of worship’s theological and historical dimensions. Its well-balanced blend of biblical study, historical overview, and practical application makes it ideal for those wishing to deepen their understanding of worship as both a theological concept and a lived experience. It is an excellent resource for worship leaders, church members, and anyone with a desire to engage with worship in a more profound way
Great practical ministry skills
I think this has been a great unit to learn more about ourselves and how we fit into the bigger picture; and how we can in turn, understand and relate to others.
