I understand about baptism

All through this course my knowledge of the Person of the Holy Spirit has grown exponentially. Having initially joined the (Evangelical) Anglican Church in Sydney I now understand how little time and consideration of the work of the Holy Spirit we were taught. Everything was Jesus, and whilst I know that is correct, I now have a better understanding of the role and work of the Holy Spirit is his relationship within the Trinity.

The lessons are an eye opener and the presentation was excellent. The lessons are easy to follow and to understand. The information is very useful and and can be easily be implemented in our communities. For me the art of of listening has been a major outstanding and it has helped me a lot in that area.

Through my theological studies, I have gained deeper knowledge and understanding of the Bible, enriching my faith and equipping me to grow spiritually

As a death doula I have the honor to serve others in a most sacred way. Supporting someone through the experience of death of the physical body and the resurrection of their spirit, as well as ministering to those left behind who are often in grief and confusion.

Best refresher course. So essential to understand the foundational elements of service to others from a biblical perspective.

Covered so much relevant information in a concise manner.

Commencing this course at the beginning of this year was one of a blend of excitement and total shock at what I was undertaking. Why did I need to achieve this now that I’ve retired? I had no idea, but God in His wisdom knew.

As a retired teacher, completing an assessment every couple of weeks was totally against my learning principles in how I actually used to teach academic writing skills. Slowly, but gently, He was showing me that the point was not about the quantity and the structure of what I was producing, but it was the focus of learning more about Him. Learning about His character and just how much he loves us, and a revelation of how much He loves and accepts me just as I am.

Hearing firsthand from influential voices, such as Michael Adelana, Tex Houston, and Tanya Harris, gave real-world insights that brought theological concepts to life. The interviews added depth, making the learning experience engaging and deeply personal

What I found most inspiring was the focus on hearing the Spirit’s voice and learning to live a Spirit-filled life in community. The lessons on praying in the Spirit and the acts of impartation enriched my prayer life and gave me practical tools to pursue deeper spiritual encounters

Overall, this course challenged me, equipped me, and inspired me to walk closer with the Spirit. It’s a journey I would recommend to anyone longing to experience the vibrancy and power of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of life and ministry

This subject was incredibly well presented by Jeremy, allowing the topic of the Trinity, not to be completely understood (which it cannot), but helped me grow a ‘better’ understanding. Jeremy was easy to listen to, knowledgable and gave great insight into the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I thoroughly enjoyed this subject and feel that Jeremy really did justice to a difficult topic in such a short space of time.

I can see how the information I’ve learned so far will be very helpful in helping others in the church as well as my community . I’ve been given practical ideas and examples that will be useful and the classes have been user friendly. I look forward to each session and expanding my knowledge base in these subjects . This has been an overall informative program and thank you for offering it at an affordable cost to achieve this knowledge .

Taking the “Person & Work of the Holy Spirit” course has been a transformative experience that goes far beyond mere academic learning. From the moment I began the course, I felt invited into a deep, engaging exploration of one of the most profound and yet often misunderstood aspects of faith: the Holy Spirit.

The introductory session set the stage beautifully, offering a clear sense of direction while preparing me to embark on this spiritual and theological journey. The interview on how to journal provided practical insights that made the learning experience truly reflective and personal. The guidance on journaling wasn’t just about recording thoughts but creating a spiritual practice that enriched every step of the course.

Throughout the series, the interviews with key figures like Ian Grant, Fiona Sear, and Andrew Groza added incredible depth. These real-world insights made complex theological concepts accessible and relatable. Each interviewee brought a unique perspective, opening up new dimensions of understanding and challenging me to think deeper about how the Holy Spirit moves in and around us.

So good to be reminded of the need to:

Essential knowledge to guide the churches according to Biblical values meeting morale, ethetical, and legal compliances. I was an Architect and recently studied Pastoral Theology and aware of two main areas in running churches. The Biblical and Organisational skills are both equally important for sustainable growth of the mission and vision.

In reality many churches is lack of systematic quality concept let alone implementation. I’ve been a management system consultant after the Lord has lead me to study MBA major in Quality Management System ISO 9001 series. I was also a Lead Auditor and Facilitator for a few Local Governments Organisations. We do have another version of Australia Business Excellence Frame design for organisation. A few years back the Baptist Union of NSW was awarded with Gold level recognition in Australia.

I would love to see the quality Framework approach in our churches but a great resistance from the pastors is uniform through many churches.

To cut it short, I am encouraged by your presentations and will share with my current church leaders and members for their consideration. If this package is made available for the Baptist Unions through out the States and Territories and coordinate the deliveries to local churches it would bring benefit to many churches. One of the greatest strengths of studying the Word of God is its ability to speak across generations. The principles found within scripture remain relevant, offering wisdom for contemporary issues. The various translations available also make the Bible accessible, catering to different reading preferences and comprehension levels.

However, one weakness can be the complexity of certain passages, which may lead to confusion or misinterpretation without proper guidance. Additionally, some may struggle with the historical and cultural contexts that can be challenging to grasp.

In conclusion, Studying the Word of God is a rewarding endeavor that deepens one’s faith and understanding. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking spiritual growth, comfort, or guidance. Whether a seasoned believer or new to scripture, there is always something new to discover. The Bible not only transforms our understanding of God but also our relationships with others and ourselves. I hope that more people will embark on this journey, finding the profound truths that the Word of God offers.

Old testament part 1 has been so interesting and educative. It has answered so many questions which will enable me teach and preach to my Christians.

I have learnt that whenever scripture is used in the new testament it is referring to the old testament. That the new testament equates the old testament with the voice of God.

I have also again been reminded that Israel was not chosen by God to be his people because of any special merit but because of God’s love, grace and faithful.

We give God all the glory for enabling me finish this course.

Let me thank you from my bottom of my heart for the love you have for the people of God. What you have offered me is like you have redeemed my community. I Learn much more of God calls in my life and how to response

A minister preacher must be equipped with both learning and unlearning skills if one has to be effective servant of the most high God. It’s not the preacher message it’s God’s message to his people who amongst is the preacher. We must allow the Holly spirit to to God’s people and ourselves, else we find ourselves blocking the same message we’re preaching.

This college is really inspirin me.You can look at things. you think you know from different angles.lam being challenged.

The Bible read text interpretation by a community of believers should be treated as a whole text and not an isolation.The chosenscriptural text should target the audience explicitly and exhaustedly as a message and address the underlaying gospel issues to counsel,warn,redeem and grace the text preservation within historical, literary,social or geopolitical and cross cultural community of believers.Too,text if clauses,verbs used,adjectives,sounds as of slang words(Woop in Australia)should be considered their former or presently intended meaning to the audience.Moreover,complicated texts as 1Kings 18, Deuteronomy select chapter like 22,should be identified of the principle within and perhaps be summarised with a clearer and a short text expression for increased audience to target group leading to understanding.Still,expressions can take or loose a particularly intended meaning to the seen or foreseen audience formerly existing, currently or living in God’s believe in that future of their faith life.Ie:1Timothy 6:10,”Money is the root form of all evils,”may not be true to all locations or groups applications for there are various portions of evils caused and not effected by money yet they are evils,to exemplify:prostitution,drugs and substance abuse,human ignorance to lead procrastination of activities,”Pastor,Jenii saying that she will preach when she wants…”

1: richer communication, passing conversations and the capacity to read body language are things that are missing from virtual teams. And the major challenge of the performing stage is managing task completion, evaluating results, striving for improvement.

2: Backup behavior means, assisting another team member in their task to attain the team goals. The impact of the Johari window arena area increases, facade area decreases, the blind spot area takes longer to decrease hence the effective communication to a team or group, you need to adopt discd model acronym.

3: we sometime react to emotionally or strongly to elements of culture because the presented culture is the opposite of our core values or worldview, greater innovation, better decision making and increased team knowledge and the advantage of some diversity within ateam.80%-90% of emotional communication non-verbal hence depressed tells us that we have been emotionally wounded and we need to care for the wound.

4: The two most effective means of emotional support are listening and just being with people. the other team members natural communication style is the most effective communication style when communicating one with team members. Feedback should always be done in person hence the reason to thank those that give you feedback is to acknowledge that you have heard it and that you appreciate the time they have taken to give you feedback

The truth is that I have learnt a lot that I did not know about how to analyze and apply the Bible, looking for clues, Historical context, surely I have been blessed and my approach to the Bible has changed to better understanding of the scriptures with what I have learnt.
