Tex have enlightened and encouraged me. I never looked at music as way of worship, I took it as entertainment especially when I see how some members dance to the music in church. Tex made me realized that I am the problem not them. I should be in Spirit, worshipping God as is only me and Him in church. I learnt so much and have changed my attitudes towards music on church

During this period of introduction to Biblical studies I was surprised to know about many preunderstandings I had… One of them is the book of Jonah.. Used to just see his refusal to deliver the message but after the interpretive journey and having gone back to study and reread the book, I found out that he actually feared and knew that God would be gracious and forgive the people of Nineveh. Am greatfull for the classes and my good pastor Grant. Maybe one day he’ll come to Kenya and preach here. God bless you so much Axx family.

I’m happy for learning this. I have been finding hard time dealing with conflicts our church. I have learned that I need to start with the source of conflict before I come to the management of the conflict. I need to step in mentoring, teaching, training and coaching . I need also to accept change as part of life and never give up.

The deeper understanding of the word of God and my life as a Christian and the Sound Doctrine of Who Jesus is and what He means to my life as His son.That is what was the highlight of the module of me.

To me it was an incredible journing.

Before I jumped into this great class I had a worsed idea thinking that always conflict is a signal of a worse thing behind the seen.i always that it is wise to avoid conflict into our groups ,churches or even in the community we live by. This Course enlightened me greatly particularly being a Cameroonian on the requirements needed to successfully bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to some of the unreached parts of Zimbabwe where I am presently! This unit also eradicated the difficulties I was already going through as a foreigner of the Culture.

Acts has given me the green light on what the apostle went through on proclaiming the good news. It has also strengthen my faith on who God is.For really being a follower of christ needs commitment and compassion.It si book that has revealed for me how God speaks,leads and protects his faithful savant. I have never thought of the book of revelation as a letter, i always saw it as a prophetic book. i got curious and tried to read it again to see if i can perceive it differently.

I learnt that in order understand the passage, reading it several times will help in getting what the writer is communicating, the audience and the principle i can draw from it.

I learnt that the bible was written to a specific audience, understanding the time, location and culture will form the basis of my interpretation of the passage’

This course have been helpful to me with regards analysing text in the Bible and how to apply them and am very greatful to God for granting me the understanding.

The whole teaching has been so insightful, exploring about God, angels and demons, creation and humanity. Such an eye opener to the realities that surround our existence and why we need to study all the more.
