God found me at my lowest. I was in a devasted place and I made Him a promise the if he got me out of it, I would serve Him. And He did! I went back on my promise, but He reminded me of it, and I knew I had no choice but to surrender my life to Him.

Taking this course Part 1 Intercultural Ministry has given me a broad Spectrum of lessons , which enhance my view of understanding more in-depth of Mission and Churches as a whole. While we are called to reach out to others in expanding Gods kingdom living, having the reminder that we can’t do this with empty tanks is essential in maintaining and maturing in the knowledge of Christ for our lives. With our busy lives we often forget to take this time for ourselves which is also important, and Jesus showed us this constantly when he rested from His times of Ministry. I really needed this reminder. Thankyou.

Great historical content

Such a great course, short simple videos and assignments

Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the wonderful gift of teaching upon Matt. The content was delivered in a way that was clear & easy to understand. Initially, I was a bit nervous, however after the introductory zoom cohort with Jasmine & now listening to these lectures, my excitement for what is to come has been elevated. Thank you for an encouraging start.

Great teaching

Though I have been to several mission trips, there is so much to learn. The course has lots of helpful information, tips and awareness. I’m truely enjoying this Mission Course greatly.

At first part 2 seemed to be misunderstood by me, and it seemed not in order, but as I persevered through part 2, it began to make sense. I find that the second part should be first and the first part second in making sense of the sequence, however, I found it to be a perfect mixture of personal, spiritual and professional development with an overall effective method towards developing Disciples of Christ. Thank you.

I personally loved the historical coverage of how thinking and doctrine has developed in church history. Overall, a very practical unit on the Holy Spirit. The interview were also quite good – it was interesting to hear a variety of experiences with the Holy Spirit, and all of them had some great practicalities to take away!

I quite enjoy the study of the OT, and this course definitely ticks the boxes. Covers a lot of ground, but helps build that base of understanding that’s so helpful when digging deeper.

This definitely changed my perspective of worship (even as a pastor!) – the approach Tex brings is both challenging and empowering!
