a pleasure hearing in depth on ways he can work through us

I have been teaching Baptism classes for several years. I found the question section cleared up some very common questions I get asked which was backed with scripture. I feel more equipped with these teachings. Thank you.

I am blessed to come across a course where I can develop skills to share my belief in Jesus Crist, share the word and teachings from the bible

Different from the synoptics.

It gives direct account of Jesus. No parables

My faith has greatly been increased through hearing WOG

Counselling Basics 1 and 2 provided me with a reminder of knowledge I had already learned about counselling as well as new information about counselling in a pastoral context. It has given me a framework for being a better leader at my church, and deeper understanding of how God is at work in the realm of emotional healing, how He has created us to walk alongside the weary to encourage them and share their burdens while still keeping ourselves accountable and protected.

My heart is to minister effectively to those in my care. I am particularly drawn to those who have experienced trauma and grief, also to care for caregivers.

This course has helped to prepare me to reach out in the confidence that I have training and real strategies to minister.

The Pastoral Care course was very informative and scriptural based, I always looked forward to completing the next section.

The tutors were so relatable, and the freedom to study as it suited me was really great alongside working full time, and being in New Zealand.

Thank you, I have been so blessed to complete this training, and am beginning my next course soon, in Pastoral Ministry.

Blessings and thanks to you .

Kind regards

Christine

Studying the introduction and background to Revelation has been a real blessing to me. Prior to my first reading of Revelation, I began with the impression that Revelation was a difficult and mysterious book. After studying it in my connect group and this opportunity, I am now seeing it with much greater understanding. Learning about its author, historical context, purpose, audience, genres, literary features, symbols, numbers, rhetoric and different approaches to interpretation has helped me read the book with greater confidence and less fear of misunderstanding it.

My greatest growth has been learning to consider what John was communicating to the original churches and how his message would have been heard by them. I am learning not to approach Revelation simply as a timeline of future events, but as a message calling God’s people to faithfulness, perseverance, discernment and allegiance to Jesus. This has challenged me personally to consider where my own allegiance lies and whether my everyday life reflects trust in God.

I feel blessed that this study is strengthening me as I continue to follow God’s call on my life to learn about who He is and His word to believers. It is helping me approach Scripture more thoughtfully and to recognise that even difficult books can speak directly into my faith and ministry. I am becoming more aware that God is sovereign, Jesus is victorious, and my response is to remain faithful, keep learning, and allow what I learn to shape how I serve and encourage others.

I have always had an interest in volunteer work, and of late have wondered about undertaking a short term Missions trip. I feel this course gave some very clear and concise information that is very useful and really helped me understand what I would need to do to prepare myself so that not only would I get the most out of being a part of a Missions trip, but more importantly, I’d add value to the team, the Missionary and to the people & community I would be going to serve.

This is a follow on from Part 1 and goes into great detail about the early church. I found it very high level and scholiastic.

Highly recommend this series for learning the Book of Acts. It is jam packed with material that is high end, very in-depth and intense, will get you understanding the early church beginnings.

I enjoyed this unit, although sometimes it was information that I knew and believed, so it was slightly less compelling. However, the final lesson, Church in the Public Sphere, was very engaging and a challenge for me to explore where my life reflects Roman Empire culture rather than Kingdom culture. Thank you to the lecturers for your amazing insight into the Scriptures.

Undiluted Word Of God has made me increase my faith

With each lesson, I grow not only in knowledge, but in my devotion and love for God. I feel the presence of the Spirit and have seen tangible changes in my life. I burst with enthusiasm and desire to minister to others and to bring others to meet Jesus.

Love what I have learnt, and it was something in my time with work and church leadership

Studying at Axx has been a significant blessing to both my faith and ministry practice. What I am learning is not remaining in the classroom; it is shaping how I lead, teach, listen and serve others. Studying Scripture through the broader story of God, His covenant, His people and His purposes has given me greater confidence and depth when engaging with others in ministry. I am learning to connect biblical truth with real-life situations, encourage people in their faith, and lead with greater humility and wisdom. Axx is helping me grow not only in knowledge, but in faithfully living out God’s call.

I really found this series of videos, effective, relevant and profound in teaching me to understand how to analyse and apply the Bible. I like that it teaches us to focus on applying, doing, and not to take Scripture out of context but to delve, learn and understand it, better. I enjoyed seeing how some Scripture, can be applied straight away in our everyday lives, but other Words, need exploring more thoroughly. Thank you.

Axx Bible College and the content they provide here, has ensured that my first Chrisitan book is now published and I was able to analyse and apply the concepts of Biblical Theoretical teaching from this College to ensure my work is Biblically authenticated and sound. I am in the process of publishing my second book, all glory to Jesus Christ! Thank you.

Listening & watching undiluted Word has increased my Faith immensely. Thanks AXX. GBUabundantly

In this course I have learned about various aspects in Leadership, Church health, Missions, Pentecostal & Missional Ecclesiology, Emerging church (local & global) etc. All topics are important and interesting alike and I have gained extensive knowledge and understood how leadership plays a huge role in doing a fruitful church and how leaders have to be qualified according to the instructions given in scriptures. Knowing about the women in leadership in church according to the biblical standard is very encouraging and interesting. It has helped me to understand the role of a woman in church as a leader is not restricted which I had a doubt about it previously as some churches do not allow women to take on leadership. Doubt is now cleared. Additional resources too give you a wealth of information and knowledge which is very useful in our practical life daily.

Very helpful and informative I enjoyed this topic, thank you

This has been extremely helpful, thought provoking and interesting. It has really helped in bringing the scriptures to life, and to enable me to connect on a really profound level.

Nice experience. Listening to the Gospel as long time ago.

Increased my Faith 🙏

Words cannot truly explain how much I have gained from this course. My journey to a life with God has been truly enriched through my studies and I can physically feel my relationship with God going from strength to strength and I can feel the presence of the Spirit as I am guided along my journey.

This lesson has been a real blessing to me. I came expecting to gain knowledge, but I found myself challenged to look at Scripture, leadership and God’s call on my life in a deeper way.

I was especially impacted by learning to read Scripture within its original cultural and historical context rather than through the assumptions of my own culture. It challenged some of my thinking and reminded me to remain humble, open and willing to grow.

The teaching on Jesus’ approach to leadership and His treatment of women also spoke deeply to me. It has encouraged me to reflect on what servant leadership looks like in my own life and ministry.

I am grateful to Axx for creating a space where learning and faith come together. This lesson has encouraged me to keep growing, keep asking questions, and most importantly, keep saying “yes” to God wherever He leads me.

I have certainly gained so much from this course, in helping me understand Gods Narrative, the Church, the Kingdom and my role.

Very interesting topic about the local and global emerging church and how they operate their different visions and missions

But the ultimate goal is there love and worship to God and service to the wider community

The whole lesson was very informative as I was very interested to know how these churches run

Well explained

This course has been really helpful, informational and also encourages me to start making changes in the things I have been wanting to do.

I sensed real the whole way thru…so I was blessed as all I’ve got to offer is the real me walking with a REAL GOD who really cares.

The lessons on Bible, Leadership & Women have been a significant blessing to me, both personally and in my understanding of Scripture. What has impacted me most is learning to look more carefully at the biblical text and to recognise how cultural assumptions and traditions can influence the way we interpret passages about women and leadership.

This unit has challenged some of my previous thinking and, at times, has been emotionally difficult as I have reflected on the way women have been treated throughout biblical history and, particularly, within the Christian church. At the same time, it has strengthened my appreciation for Jesus, whose treatment of women was so counter-cultural and who consistently demonstrated their dignity, value and place within God’s kingdom.

I have been encouraged to see that biblical leadership is not about power or status, but about servant-hearted leadership, following the example of Christ. These lessons have helped me grow in confidence to read Scripture thoughtfully, challenge assumptions, and consider how I can contribute to creating spaces where both women and men are valued and empowered to use the gifts God has given them.

I am grateful to AXX and Kevin Giles for how this unit has deepened my faith, broadened my understanding of Scripture, and encouraged me to follow God’s call with greater confidence and openness.

I was looking for a teaching like this. thank you for communicating God’s heart through your teaching.

this was not just being equipped but being empowered. I love the the ending note on thinking about heaven, eternity matters.

I was being blessed as I watched and listenned.

I’ve learnt the importance of partaking the communion together.

It’s through relationships. Christ spoke of forgiveness when we look at the Cross

I’m now in a position to know how to start & govern a Not-for -profit organization

This course has been such a blessing as I continue to be obedient to Gods calling on my life. The content was very relevant and easy to follow and the presenter/s were amazing in there delivery. I am truly blessed to have been able to complete this course and look forward to where it will take me.

Listening you quickly get a strong sense of the depth of experience and knowledge of Cam Butler on this topic. You become aware of the importance of being grounded and present in chaplaincy work.

I’ve learnt what it entails to be a community chaplain especially the listening bit. Mind-blowing.

God is using my Axx to turn my willingness into wisdom. I came seeking knowledge, but I am leaving with a transformed heart ready to listen and serve. I’m able to help a friend through the trauma of loosing his mum by listening showing empathy compassion listening and being present. Come and hear all who fear God and see what he is doing through this course and in people like myself.

Thanks for the very thorough coverage of the Resurrection, Reaching target audiences, proof of the reliability of the Bible, Jesus, different religions and how to relate to these people, knowing when to stop, not being confrontational, being winsome and the good and bad side of Church. Thanks very much again Dr Jon Newton, your Staff and the College for making this course available to the public.

Thank you for your concise and interesting course. I am in the process of absorbing this information. The Worldviews and ideologies and their changes were new to me, e.g. Medieval, Modern and Post Modern. Insights into evidence for God including Cosmological, Macro and Micro Evolution, Suffering and evil and room for mystery are important to understand so conversations with others, especially Pre-Christians will be deeper and richer. I will need to review my notes to get a better grasp of it all. Pascals Wager was brilliant! Thank you Dr Jon Newton and Staff!

It’s been a journey of discovery, providing the opportunity to come into a greater knowledge KOG experience.

Therefore as a disciple I’ve a part in God’s healing mission.

Kevin Giles used the phrase ‘it will blow your mind’ in describing texts by modern orthodoxy theologians K Barth and T F Torrance and those before them. The phrase will remain with me. Every lesson is intense, I played them several times to grasp a level of understanding. Key words homoousis, pericoresis, immanant, economy I am getting my mind around. What I will hold to is the Nicene creed that God reveals Himself through the eternal generation of the Son and Holy Spirit preceding from the Father and Son. The love of God who loves to reveal Himself through the Trinity, economy of salvation and our evangelical experiences. Praise be to God.

This coaching and mentoring course was practical, clear, and useful. It helped me understand how to support others better by listening, asking good questions, and guiding people without giving them all the answers. I found the GROW model especially helpful because it gave me a simple structure to follow. Overall, the course improved my confidence and gave me skills I can use in both my personal life and my work.

I am absolutely loving this course. It is giving me so much insight and I am developing valuable skills, all which are enabling me to expand my knowledge, and get deeper understanding of how I can apply Gods word.

Clear teaching, real-life examples, and a compassionate approach that actually helps. Highly recommend.

I’ve learnt how I should literary grow in God. My thirst is being quenched
