In this course I have learned about various aspects in Leadership, Church health, Missions, Pentecostal & Missional Ecclesiology, Emerging church (local & global) etc. All topics are important and interesting alike and I have gained extensive knowledge and understood how leadership plays a huge role in doing a fruitful church and how leaders have to be qualified according to the instructions given in scriptures. Knowing about the women in leadership in church according to the biblical standard is very encouraging and interesting. It has helped me to understand the role of a woman in church as a leader is not restricted which I had a doubt about it previously as some churches do not allow women to take on leadership. Doubt is now cleared. Additional resources too give you a wealth of information and knowledge which is very useful in our practical life daily.

Words cannot truly explain how much I have gained from this course. My journey to a life with God has been truly enriched through my studies and I can physically feel my relationship with God going from strength to strength and I can feel the presence of the Spirit as I am guided along my journey.

This lesson has been a real blessing to me. I came expecting to gain knowledge, but I found myself challenged to look at Scripture, leadership and God’s call on my life in a deeper way.

I was especially impacted by learning to read Scripture within its original cultural and historical context rather than through the assumptions of my own culture. It challenged some of my thinking and reminded me to remain humble, open and willing to grow.

The teaching on Jesus’ approach to leadership and His treatment of women also spoke deeply to me. It has encouraged me to reflect on what servant leadership looks like in my own life and ministry.

I am grateful to Axx for creating a space where learning and faith come together. This lesson has encouraged me to keep growing, keep asking questions, and most importantly, keep saying “yes” to God wherever He leads me.

I have certainly gained so much from this course, in helping me understand Gods Narrative, the Church, the Kingdom and my role.

This course has been really helpful, informational and also encourages me to start making changes in the things I have been wanting to do.

I sensed real the whole way thru…so I was blessed as all I’ve got to offer is the real me walking with a REAL GOD who really cares.

The lessons on Bible, Leadership & Women have been a significant blessing to me, both personally and in my understanding of Scripture. What has impacted me most is learning to look more carefully at the biblical text and to recognise how cultural assumptions and traditions can influence the way we interpret passages about women and leadership.

This unit has challenged some of my previous thinking and, at times, has been emotionally difficult as I have reflected on the way women have been treated throughout biblical history and, particularly, within the Christian church. At the same time, it has strengthened my appreciation for Jesus, whose treatment of women was so counter-cultural and who consistently demonstrated their dignity, value and place within God’s kingdom.

I have been encouraged to see that biblical leadership is not about power or status, but about servant-hearted leadership, following the example of Christ. These lessons have helped me grow in confidence to read Scripture thoughtfully, challenge assumptions, and consider how I can contribute to creating spaces where both women and men are valued and empowered to use the gifts God has given them.

I am grateful to AXX and Kevin Giles for how this unit has deepened my faith, broadened my understanding of Scripture, and encouraged me to follow God’s call with greater confidence and openness.

Thank you for your concise and interesting course. I am in the process of absorbing this information. The Worldviews and ideologies and their changes were new to me, e.g. Medieval, Modern and Post Modern. Insights into evidence for God including Cosmological, Macro and Micro Evolution, Suffering and evil and room for mystery are important to understand so conversations with others, especially Pre-Christians will be deeper and richer. I will need to review my notes to get a better grasp of it all. Pascals Wager was brilliant! Thank you Dr Jon Newton and Staff!

It’s been a journey of discovery, providing the opportunity to come into a greater knowledge KOG experience.

Therefore as a disciple I’ve a part in God’s healing mission.

Kevin Giles used the phrase ‘it will blow your mind’ in describing texts by modern orthodoxy theologians K Barth and T F Torrance and those before them. The phrase will remain with me. Every lesson is intense, I played them several times to grasp a level of understanding. Key words homoousis, pericoresis, immanant, economy I am getting my mind around. What I will hold to is the Nicene creed that God reveals Himself through the eternal generation of the Son and Holy Spirit preceding from the Father and Son. The love of God who loves to reveal Himself through the Trinity, economy of salvation and our evangelical experiences. Praise be to God.

This coaching and mentoring course was practical, clear, and useful. It helped me understand how to support others better by listening, asking good questions, and guiding people without giving them all the answers. I found the GROW model especially helpful because it gave me a simple structure to follow. Overall, the course improved my confidence and gave me skills I can use in both my personal life and my work.

This is a very important and interesting subject to me. I have gained an extensive knowledge about the nature of the church and its mission in the world; under various topics discussed in the lectures. It is important that we understand the theological approach in applying principals of the church leadership, ministry, missions, worship, governance etc. concerning church. I have learned and understood how to evaluate the sacraments theologically which I had never done before. There is lot of reading to be done with the additional resources provided and they are very informative and will be useful in our daily practical life in order to be successful in our ministries entrusted to us in the local church.

I have just completed my first unit and feel excited to continue learning. This unit has provided me with a deeper understanding of how to engage with the Word of God, apply it to my life, and support others. Beyond the teaching, it also offers affordable credentials that allow me to be recognised as a minister of God.
