This course talks about leadership, key changes, God breathed transitions, and understanding spiritual formation and direction. Ian directed us through spiritual phases of this, how to identify goal posts, forks in the road, as well as character development, referring to DISC, Myer Briggs and 5 love languages. My eyes are now opened to the topic and methods of Apologetics meant for individuals and groups. I appreciate the learning very much. Praise God.

Again Dr Newton took us through the second part Acts, in how Paul through different scenarios was able to spread the Gospel to the Gentiles. Also that through adversity, Paul remained steadfast. It took me a while to get through this course as there is much to take in. Thoroughly enjoyed the Journey !

I really enjoyed this study on Acts. It showed me how we can truly rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us and show us what is the best course. It was also a great overview of the early church and Dr Newton was very good at bringing insight into the passages.

I found this course very thought provoking. I was, as many bought up in traditional churches, baptised as a baby. As I have begun my own personal journey with God, I have been drawn to learn more, dig deeper into the teachings and the journey through Jesus to salvation. I have a strong desire to dedicate myself as an adult, and have given my life to Jesus, recognising Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I will seek baptism as an adult now, as it has such a special meaning to me, to be able to undertake this by my own volition.

Lots of things can work and go wrong in teams. Talking authentically and real about working with people is necessary and essential and needs to be addressed in a healthy way. Axx Bible College really pulled together strategically the necessity stuff to talk about that can often stop our walk, harm our focus and direction in our call with Jesus. Well done for calling out everyday issues and talking about them realistically so we as believers can move forward in doing our call for Christ, veritably.

I found this course very informative, relevant and has given me more insight into different pathways within the church. With each step I take in study, I feel my connection with God growing stronger. I am putting my trust in God, to guide me to the pathway he wants me to take, and I am eager to learn more and more as I progress along my journey with God.

I got more information and better language to use when listening better with others.

Through my 12 month journey, Axx Bible College has given me guidance, practical teaching and Holy Spirit spiritual teaching to feel confidently equipped to write my first book, which is at the publishers, and will be available soon. But God doesn’t stop there, and when you’re connected to the Vine, the full Power of Christ emerges and through the Will of the Holy Spirit, I have started creating a second book! I’m only 5,000 words in, but another example of being in the right place at the right time, thank you Axx your teaching resources are special and anointed through Christ Jesus! I feel the Power!

You cannot lead without people and people matter, you matter and so does Christ, He matters, and you matter to Him.

Real practical skill development opportunities here to learn about dealing with conflict affectively. The course offered great examples we can apply in real-life situations and also within a ministerial context. Very well discussed, and clearly thought out and intentionally taught offering realistic solutions to complex scenarios.

Communication and the Principles of Team work can be a touchy and sensitive subject. AXX Bible College offered real solutions to this challenging subject. thank you.

I have enjoyed delving deeper into this subject, particularly overlaying the lens of faith. I feel more confident in my own abilities and am now inspired to explore a much deeper relationship with God

having studied counselling as part of other courses over the course of my career, I felt this was delivered in a very practical, sensible and effective way. It was enlightening to see how faith can play a part in the space, and I feel a lot more confident in my own pathway now

This has been my favourite course so far. As a musician myself, I totally related to what Tex Houston was saying. His connections between music, worship and service are inspiring. Additionally the academic context of the course was great and very informative.

I am very much enjoying learning about Pentecostal Theology concerning the Holy Spirit.

It is by far one of the more interesting series (for me personally).

The lesson on Chaplaincy that you guys provided are very helpful in so many ways. It has given me the information and knowledge on how to effectively connect with people. It has helped me to build confidence and I have learned to socialize easily.

Praise God for this privilege that was provided. I pray that more Christians may be able to learn from your services.

good and to the point

The first time I have accepted Christ as my God and my Savior was 30 years ago. It was a really huge experience for me at the time, all different sorts of overwhelming emotions came flooding in all directions, emotions so mixed i could not tell which is which. It felt as if my body is carrying a very heavy load.

After coming out of the water, everything just felt so light. It’s as if everything that was weighing me down was left in the water. putting what i was feeling at that moment into words, it would be a “calm joy”.

Praise God for this program, it has, and will help more new Believers to understand the meaning of Baptism.

There has been a lot happening in the past 3 years 2 new positions and moving into Education out of industry.

It has been a big change and if there was ever a bloke who felt like they had nothing it was me. I have had to rely on the Holy Spirit every day. When I thought we could cruise I was quickly reminded this is a partnership and I had to keep on track.

God is good all the time, this is not just a casual saying it is a fact of life, like gravity.

This course is helping me with our new minisrry

How important this is. We gave many areas in our church we take for granted that have in many ways evolved out of nessessity. Each area is an opertunity for the next group to participate.

By following this course I have understood how powerful you can become when you operate in the spirit as it’s all about how the Holy Spirit inspire us, encourage us and give us boldness to teach the word and prepare people to accept Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It proves that only the intellectual or academic knowledge is insufficient to win a soul to God’s Kingdom.

Apart from serving in the Worship Ministry at Restore Church, I have been able to say ‘yes’ to help in the Sunday School as a teacher-assistant to little kids (Lamp Lighters). Also with other church members during Christmas time I visit few aged care facilities to sing carols, share the word and distribute gifts and enjoy the time with them in the Lord. It gives me joy in sharing my faith with them. Learning this course has been a tremendous blessing and I will share my knowledge giving all glory to God.

This course has given me so much knowledge, but has also helped my faith grow, and helped me to understand my relationship with God more. I am looking forward to learning more and continuing to deepen and strengthen my relationship with God as my studies continue

One of the most rewarding aspects of this experience has been the community it fostered. To be able to gather with fellow disciples allowed for open communication and sharing. We had the chance to discuss our individual struggles and have also learned how much each of us are valued in our community.

The communal aspect of discipleship illustrated the essential idea that spiritually thrives in relationship-not only in a higher power but also with one another. Through small group discussions I’ve learned to express my doubts and fears openly, leading to a collective exploration of faith that are both enlightening and affirming.

This has been a wonderful unit as I have learnt so much about the workings and power of the Holy Spirit. It was amazing to see Him as a person yet to be the third person in the Holy Trinity – ie. the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as one God. Although I have been a Christian for a long time it was great the hear this teaching.

This course has deepen my understanding and gave me more motivation, and the beauty of this mutual aid lies in it’s reciprocity. When we extend help, we don’t just give-we receive. Proverb 11:25 declares, “A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
