Never too old to learn more!

04/12/2025

I’ve been a Christian for many years, and made a point of reading the Bible, probably in a haphazard way. Reading the Bible to understand the context and the cultural differences is paramount to fully understand what God is saying to me today. There is such a wealth of knowledge and background information that is necessary to glean what it means today.

I am loving this unit. The lectures are brilliant, very clear instructions and the presenter Andrew is amazing.

Tough to listen

04/26/2025

As my title suggests, this was tough to listen to and watch. For myself, someone that “just believes” and doesn’t question the bible, it was a struggle to listen to all the ins and outs of theology. Or-through Jeremy is clearly very knowledgeable, i found that he waffled on a bit, therefore i lost engagement and forwarded through to the next topic.

In saying that when God mentions in His word how we have access to Him and his nature through Jesus, 2 Peter 1:4 ,

“Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature..” These verses carry A LOT more weight when understanding His deity, His noncommunicable and communicable attributes.
